I've been trying to blog this card about 185 times today, but been asked to take son to his friend, to skatepark, back from skatepark, from his friend... And guess what, now I'm going again. ;)

OH NO! Can't believe this! I never ever meant to use same colours than Mo's original here.

It has to be my sub constance. I found Jak Heath's fab tutorial how to colour dark hair and then I thought well, yellow dress would look perfecto!

I know, I know, it's "winter is coming", but I'd rather enjoy summer, sunshine, Yorkshire Weather. Perfect Yorkshire Weather. ;)
(Yorkshire folks know what I'm talking about.)

One of the cutiest stamp from Lili of the Valley. Well, there is no point even to try putting them on order, because they are sweet every single one.

There is very little fuss on this card, because I wanted to make something clean and simple.

His shoes and cricket bat are decoupage (well, one extra layer) because I coloured them wrong first, but won't tell anyone ;)

I have this fantastic stamp from Stamps Happen and it's called Kitty Chorus

Our household is dominated by two rescued cats, Noodles and Chips. Well when I say dominated by, I really DON'T mean it. Our cats are members of our family and we love them.

Our neighbour's young lad, Luke, said to me, that if I ever have a third cat, he/she should be called Pizza. Luke is really nice, has twinkle in his eyes and is always very polite and smiley lad. :)

Here it is. We don't have Pizza, but this stamp is just perfect.

There is a drops of glossy accent to make eyes and noses shine :)

Clouds are embossed with clear emb.powder on Tim Holtz Distress ink "Broken China".

Bench got its colour from embossing pen with Ultra Thick Embossing Crystal from Cosmic Shimmer.

A Girl and A Boutique

Ok, I wanted to try masking, but ended up cutting the image and sticking it on the background. Maybe next time. Or not.

Anyways, Kenny K again and Promarkers :) This image is nice, cheerful and great for colouring face. Now she even has eyeshadow ;)

Background is Magnolia stamp as well as stone steps. All flowers are homemade and I have nicely inked fingers :)

Making flowers is very therapeutic and you can always burn your fingertips, keeps you awake OUCH! if you are nodding off when crafting at night time.

Small one is made using Tonic Studios Petite punch and almost as thin as tissue paper. Got papers from Home Bargains and they make sweet petals.
Tonic Studios Petal Pairs are used making those three bigger ones, too. Weird looking ball is thick handmade paper + hot glue, and the daisy looking (well, with good heart you can see a daisy) are again thin paper. Green stuff is Marianne cutting die and a maple leaf puch.

This is Marianne cutting die, rolled up a bit with embossing tool (ball 6mm)

Noodles Is Home Now

Great News: Our Noodles is home now! My lovely neighbours found him about an hour ago hiding in their shed. Theory is that he's run there but couldn't climb out and there was only a gap on the top of the door. He's been there since Tuesday night and oh, his voice is rough and oh how skinny. 

Son heard meowing and asked our neighbours if he can go look for our Noodles. They looked together, force shed door open, and after pile of stuff, Noodles was there behind of all. Neighbour told they have also heard some meowing, but couldn't place where it came from. 5 days in a dark shed, no water, no food. But now Noodles is home and will be spoiled rotten.

Daniel, young gentleman from our congregation and Beth celebrated their wedding today. My walking and moving around is getting worse and worse, so I miss all events, but at least I made them a card.

3D Project - Cot

Always admired 3D projects but as stubborn as I am, I don't like buying templates. Same goes with this, my first ever cot.

Because our Noodles is missing, I can't concentrate anything, reading, colouring, watching films... nope. Needed something to do, so scrap box, pieces of cardstock and here we are:

Hougie board for scoring 

As you can see, it's not properly finished, but I just wanted to try and make one.
