Card made yesterday/today reminds me of young me ;) A bit of boyish (I was a proper tomboy), long plaits and always upto something. Our village post office lady called me Andrew, not Annemaritta. Hah! Sweet memories. One instance I claimed up to the tree and got my friend to do it too, she fell, broke her arm and my parents and her parents were angry at me! Eh? Me? Hih, no hard feelings, if they read this.
Card... I saw this digital stamp when visiting Meljen's Designs and it was perfect. Coloring is not, but girl has to re-start from somewhere, right? Colours are something different, but surprise, I like them.
Flowers on the digi are replaced with small paper roses.
Ant and I
Shoes and knees covered with grass green,
and muddy elbows.
Image - Meljen's Designs
Colours - Prismacolors
Button + ribbon + bow + flowers - found when decluttering my craft room
Cardstock and Nestabilities bought from Samuel Taylors
Backing Paper design - digital from a Dutch company can't remember the name
This will fit for few challenges, I hope.

ReplyDeleteThanks for Cooking It Up With Katie this week :)
Are you serious when you say you don't know what distressing is? Basically you need to "rough it up" whether its by making the papers look old and brittle or using ink or chalks etc to darken and "distress" the edges. You can also run the edge of a pair of scissors down the sides of your paper to make the paper look rough and frayed. You know, vintage or just "worn"
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see you try your hand at it!!
Hi Annemaritta, saw your comment on Dorcas' post. To make something look distressed - you take a perfectly good piece of card or paper and rip the edges to make them look like you and your dog had a tug of war over it. You can go over the edges with ink pad or pen...usually a brown shade, so it looks like the dog won and buried it in the garden. Just mess it up and have fun lol. Hugs lin
ReplyDelete@Lin: funny description!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Annemaritta!
Nice card! The pictures are much better now - now one can see the colours perfectly - love the bi-coloured roses :-) Very cheerful card!
Enjoy your weekend!

Dorcas and Linda, I thought it was something to do with "distressed ink", something very special, "known only by this secret society of highly distressed crafters" :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely will come up with summat, that's for sure!
