Digital camera is broken and camera phone has no flash, but that does not stop me from trying something cool and new for me. Never ever even tried easel card before, but of course I had to try something "a bit different" and this is so cool!!! I mean creating it.
Some might recognize "me", I was never happy with the card, but love the image and my colorine with her/me (yes, and I have guts to say so too! :)) and because this card is to be sent to someone very very special, wanted this person to laugh with it/me.
Now to my first ever easel card, may I introduce: Double Twisted Easel:
Yep, again I glued about one billion pearls and this time there are lilac, yellow and white of my "sandpaper glittering" cardstock. :) I hope you can spot two different shades of bp. :)
The old card
bp from Samuel Taylors
Die Cuts are Spellbinders and Nellie's Multi Frame
Pearls are from chain, cut and glued one by one
Gems are from Samuel Taylors Craft Essentials
Image is Mo Manning's
Colored Pencils are Prismacolors
It would be nice to find few challenges, but with this picture quality, I will forget it for now :( --- Will do tomorrow :)
Couldn't resist:

I'm so sorry about your camera. The card itself looks very nice. I like that image of Mo's and I saw that challenge for 2 x 2's at Craft Your Passion. It's horrible when we get so dependent on technology and then it crashes on us. My laptop died for good this time. So I have to come look at my desktop and then go back into the dining room to work, where all of supplies are. :-( dj
ReplyDeleteWow Annemaritta! Love it! I keep seeing these but have not tried to yet! You did a fantastic job! You are getting quite good with all those pearls too! Love the glittery paper too.
ReplyDeleteI haven't done my twisted easel yet, how very ambitious of you to jump right in at the deep end....and how well you swim lol. Really cute image, and love how you have the pearl border as your 'stop'. Thanks for joining us at Amber's Crafts and Stuff's Die cut challenge this week, hope you see you back again. Hugs lin

The new Pictures are great and thanks for showing how it looks folded down, makes it easier for me when I come to have a go at one. I'm making another boring old straight-forward easel just now, but must try a twisted next. Hugs lin
