Green and Purple

Digi Doodle Best Shop
Challenge #79 - Green & Purple

Welcome to our next challenge here at Digi Doodle Shop’s Challenges.  Thank you to everyone who joined in last week.  We are always so appreciative of each and every one of you for sharing your wonderful creations with us.

This is my version for this week:

How this was made?

White card blank
Green square
Purple vellum embossed using Fiskars plate
Cream linen sheet
Image from DDS, here and details of Geisha Girl are here
Colours are from Prismacolor pencils (no blending this time because the paper was so soft and linen)
Ribbons from stash organza and satin
Blossoms from stash
Pearls I tried to paint purple and green with no success or very little of it :)
Fuji and tree branch on the background are a b/w image found free copyright, I recoloured it very light grey and then used Prismacolours to colour it "properly".

Can't wait to see your creations!

  8. Annemaritta, your background is stunning. It has the look of Oriental rice paper. It is a perfect accent for your Geisha Girl.

Tom and I like everything that´s Asian :-)
We´ve been to Asia several times (China, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Hongkong, also India and Ceylon) and we loved it being there!
So, your card reminds me of those gorgeous weeks in our lives!
You designed it very pretty and I also love your bow-and-flowers-embellishment - everything matches perfectly!

  16. This is just beautiful. Love the way you've used the prismacolours to make this look so soft and smooth. The glitter effect together with the flowers and bow tops it off. Hugs Bettina
