Looking for Greener Grass

There is something very sweet in this stamp. From the biggest to the smaller they work together to give Mr Big Pig a chance to look for the greener grass.

Got this stamp from eBay years ago, but unfortunately never got the front part. Never mind, this is such a beauty anyway. Not the first time I made this to a card :)

All farm animals like spring and yay! will get out and enjoy sunshine, nice warm promise of summer and want to wonder around. (Clearly I have no idea of real farm life, but here we go!)

Stamp - Art Impressions U1719 Pig (front and) Back
Colours - Prismacolors Pencils
Card blank - Craft UK
Backing papers - Trimcraft
Flowers - small made using Cheery Lynn die + distress inks
Flowers - big made using Britannia die + distress inks
Card stock - Image stamped on Papermill 300gsm ivory card
and white hammered card backing is from Crafter's Companion

    Where is the Sun?

Saturday, August 15th, sun is shining or not but there is now time for a new

and it is Anything Goes with the Twist. This time twist is using these colours:

    Challenge is sponsored by
    Their prize is a 12 pack of Graph'It Markers (a $50 value)

Remember also that Kenny K is offering a freebie, this month it is Trixxie Treat and you can find her here at Kenny K's website.

My photographing skills are clearly not too good with light adjustment, because colours look soooo different on photos :( Ohdear.

Too late to cry over spilled milk but instead lets share the pics of my making.

Digistamp is printed using laser printer and with pencil colouring and Johnson's Baby Oil it "distresses" beautifully giving a bit rough look.

and now flowers made by yours truly:

    In a box:

    Project flowers

Digistamp from Kenny K, Princess Pia
    Colouring Prismacolor Premier pencils
Blending medium is as always Johnson's Baby Oil

    Dies from Marianne Creatables
    Big roses are all mine
Small roses made using Tonic punch,
    Blue flowers Tonic punch

    Celebrate Something

Yay, nothing is better than have any kind of reason to celebrate something or anything. It could be a painless day, a nearly painless day, a day with not as awful pain than the other day, or just enjoying little gems of life.

To be honest this is my second card I made for Kenny K's Krafty Krew Challenge #200 because I just love the latest digistamp Valet :) Not trying to get a prize but just to share.

    Ice Cream

Ice cream vans are getting familiar and their tunes particularly! This means one good thing, summer is just around the corner.

Can't wait! And as we all know, England is very famous of its long and hot summers.

Took Promarkers out and one of Kenny K's beautiful and sweet girls.

"You spin me right round" started to play in my head but I honestly think the trimming circle and pearls were spot on :)

I had such a nice time colouring and making this card.

    KennyK
    Letraset Promarkers
    Prismacolor (sky)
    Fiskars embossing plate
DecoArt Glamour Dust on ice cream
    Tonic Studios

P.S. I was kidding, we are lucky to have a day or two of summer :P

    Suvi suloinen Oh, Sweet Summer

There is nothing better than play and have fun, no worries of the world!

Annabel is upside down and loves every minute of it :D

This is exactly how kids in Finland feel when school year is over. Oh well, it is same around the world, I'm sure :D Put your feet up and let your hair down. SMASHING figure of speech, aren't they?

Stamp is from wonderful Lili of the Valley new collection called Annabel and colorine is again I've used Spectrum Noir markers. The more I use them, the better they feel and have to say they are the first markers that fits my hand/fingers perfectly.

Sentiment is a hymn that had been sung in every Finnish schools for decades and it is the FINAL of the long school year. Traditionally summer starts from that very second. Time for great celebration and fun!

    Lyrics:
    Suvivirsi

    Jo joutui armas aika
    ja suvi suloinen.
    Kauniisti joka paikkaa
    koristaa kukkanen.
    Nyt siunaustaan suopi
    taas lämpö auringon,
    se luonnon uudeks luopi,
    sen kutsuu elohon.

    Summer Hymn

    Lovely time has arrived
    and sweet summer.
    Blossoms everywhere make
    all beautiful.
    Warmth of sun
    is a blessing,
    It creates all new again
    and brings nature alive.

This fabulous challenge is spot on for my card, or is it other way round?

Creative Moments -  #39 Anything goes/Things with Wings
WordArt Wednesdays - Anything goes (must be uplifting, no dark images or themes)
