A Very Proud Grandma Presents

Long time since last blogging. Well, here I am now and happy. Happy because I am a GRANDMOTHER. It was quite certainly one of the happiest days in my life when son told me the news that they are expecting. I was laughing and crying same time, heart was singing tunes and I felt so proud and happy for my son and daughter-in-law.

Here's the one I sent after birth.

Colouring by Promarkers and Flexmarkers
Flowers coloured using Distress Inks
Embossing board is Keepsake Glitter Girls Board #50

Congratulations, It's a Boy

Son's friends are happy and proud parents of a baby boy. Don't know young man's name yet.
I tried to receive old vintage look and quite managed to do so. Well, my opinion, heh!

Sort of Vintage, Right?

Lovely stamp from I Brake For Stamps and lots and lots of flowers.

Well, my friends say I'm obsessed with making flowers, maybe they are right, but JUST MAYBE! It's nice to make something, I'm no expert but after watching some tutorials, adding my own ideas also and being stubborn with hot glue gun ("ouch, this is hot", "ouch, burned my fingers again") I've started adding homemade flowers on cards.

Now wanted to add many!

All flowers are homemade :)

Receipe:
Kraft
White smooth card
Card blank

Misc Baby Card Collection

The Great Idea was to tidy the craft room up a bit, but this happened:
(After taking the pics and posting, I made just a little bit finishing work. Lilac, blue and yellow roses I coloured myself.)

Awww... rather enjoying crafting than hoovering!

Sleeping Beauty - Times to Treasure

Sleeping Beauty - Times to Treasure

This card is made by request and is for a young couple having their first child. The title has a hidden message, or not so very hidden, I think ;) Times to treasure of course means how wonderful thing the new life is and also how those moments, when the baby is sleeping, are PRICELESS! A bit of peace and quiet. :)

Same Black and White

Sepia

This beautiful Digi Doodle baby digi is colored with Prismacolors and blending is baby oil as usual. Image itself is so gorgous that I feel it hard to honour. Sentiment is stamped using Impress red ink and tiny touch of Clear Embossing Powder. Embossed with heat gun. Yes, I'm getting there!

Image is DDSB
DP Laura Ashley
Leaves Spellbinders and swirly vine is Marianne's
Die Cut Spellbindes Lacey Ovals
Roses from stash
Glitter Glue is a gift from a friend
Pearls from Malaysia
Stamp "Times to Treasure" is a gift from very highly talented lady Marjo. Love and hugs to Finland!

After a long period of challengeless cards this one goes to

Digi Doodle Shop's Best Fairytale (I know I know, but the "Sleeping Beaty" should validate this)

Baby Girl

First of all, I blame Dorcas (with love, of course!). When I saw her project last night, it was so marvellous that I just had to give a go. Here are the pics. Although first I thought I should have some kind of shimmering lense ;)

Following Dorcas' route, I found myself admiring Randi's blog, and oh boy, she has excellent tutorials how to make this things. Go and oooh yourself! :)

A really really nice couple in our congregation is celebrating a new baby girl. Congratulations!!!  This is to them.

Inside there is a flower pot, naturally! :) Inside walls needs papering :)

Geeezzzz... I need to be more accurate next time. IF there is going to be next time!

P.S. The two die cuts from the windows are pinned on the box and I'm using them as a greeting card. :)
