Sort of Vintage, Right?

Lovely stamp from I Brake For Stamps and lots and lots of flowers.

Well, my friends say I'm obsessed with making flowers, maybe they are right, but JUST MAYBE! It's nice to make something, I'm no expert but after watching some tutorials, adding my own ideas also and being stubborn with hot glue gun ("ouch, this is hot", "ouch, burned my fingers again") I've started adding homemade flowers on cards.

Now wanted to add many!

All flowers are homemade :)

Receipe:
Kraft
White smooth card
Card blank
I Brake For Stamps
Ink
Distress Ink
Tonic Studios punches
Craftwork Cards Pearlized papers
Stems

Paper Roses and More

Paper flower from scraps, that's my kind of thinking :)

1. White pearlized card, some stems and touch of distress ink.

2. Thin paper, almost as thin as tissue paper, flatback pearls

3. White pearlized card, some stems and touch of distress ink.

4. Pearlised paper (120gsm-160gsm).

 5. Pearlised paper (120gsm-160gsm).

6.  Pearlised paper (120gsm-160gsm).

7. Approx 100gsm paper with just a hint of glitter.

8. High quality insert paper 100gsm and light touch of distress ink.

I have made all these and more (need to find pics). Inspirations and boost from

Jak Heath and her tutorials
and
Create a Beautiful Flower with Petal Pairs Punches
and
Lucinda Lucker's Petal Lu

The biggest impact was to see Lucinda's extremely beautiful flowers, never seen as beautiful as her made.

C and Z - The Big Day

C and Z the Big Day

Some time ago I blogged this:
(Picture under this text.)

Yesterday was their Wedding Day.

Got a Bookatrix board and this is what I came up with. Their theme colours were black and white and sure I wanted to follow it. Black and white together makes strong and fabulous impact and it didn't need much of huffing or puffing. White leaves on black and vica versa.

Papermills Direct A4 sheets pearlized white and matt black
Sizzix cutting board
Silver peel off roses
Black flatback pearls

Challenge or maybe two...

Girl in the Garden

I've been trying to blog this card about 185 times today, but been asked to take son to his friend, to skatepark, back from skatepark, from his friend... And guess what, now I'm going again. ;)

Details when I'm back, but here is Shirley :)

OH NO! Can't believe this! I never ever meant to use same colours than Mo's original here.

It has to be my sub constance. I found Jak Heath's fab tutorial how to colour dark hair and then I thought well, yellow dress would look perfecto!

Challenge I really wanted this to go:

Summer IS Coming

I know, I know, it's "winter is coming", but I'd rather enjoy summer, sunshine, Yorkshire Weather. Perfect Yorkshire Weather. ;)
(Yorkshire folks know what I'm talking about.)

One of the cutiest stamp from Lili of the Valley. Well, there is no point even to try putting them on order, because they are sweet every single one.

There is very little fuss on this card, because I wanted to make something clean and simple.

His shoes and cricket bat are decoupage (well, one extra layer) because I coloured them wrong first, but won't tell anyone ;)
