A Very Proud Grandma Presents

Long time since last blogging. Well, here I am now and happy. Happy because I am a GRANDMOTHER. It was quite certainly one of the happiest days in my life when son told me the news that they are expecting. I was laughing and crying same time, heart was singing tunes and I felt so proud and happy for my son and daughter-in-law.

Here's the one I sent after birth.

Black Roses

It's first of September, can't believe it is true, September already! Good thing about first of a month is a new  Kenny K's Krafty Krew Challenge is here, #202, with a twist, of course. You can find out more by following the link :)

This is my idea of a beautiful but dark autumn (or fall, as they call it on the other side of the pond). I chose to use digi stamp Trixxie Treat.

Double heart card blank I made with Glitter Girls embossing board adding few layers and silver peel off thin lines.
Trixxie's make up is done using just Promarkers Ice Grey 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.

Black roses are again Tonic Studios punch, black card, hot glue gun and burned finger tips :D

Random winner's prize is 3 free digis of the Winner's Choice, 5 if twist is used.

The Top 3 will be chosen by KennyKs Krafty Krew
Prize will be one (1) digi for each of you

Remember you MUST use a KennyK digi or stamp to qualify for a prize!

Recap:
Digi - Kenny K's Trixxie Treat
Colourine - Promarkers
Card stock - Papermill Direct
Rose vine stamp - Glitter Girls
Embossing board - Glitter Girls

This is going to be quite long post, but no apologies there, all good and exciting. Here we go!

This is quite big thing for me, Kenny K's Krafty Krew had Guest Design Team spots for 3 (yes, THREE) months and naturally. For my own surprise and great pleasure, I was invited to join the team.

Kenny K's Krafty Krew is celebrating because it is the BIG 200!

Our theme is Banner Day which means you need to make or use on your project a banner or bunting. In addition to KennyK prize, we are offering 4 different gift certificates of $25 each on our 200th challenge celebration.

Fit Together As Pieces In a Puzzle

I like making boxes for cards and keepsakes. They are very very easy to make and compliments the main "product". At least in my opinion. It doesn't have to be frilled up like a cream cake, but something to show these two fit together as pieces in a puzzle.

What do you think?

Once Upon a Time from Glitter Girls

This is probably the most popular embossing board from Glitter Girls I can think.

Box making is fun and there is always a thing or two you could do better.
Till next time...
