Looking Fresh and Bright

Big news!  May I introduce myself: Annemaritta, Digi Doodle Shop's DT member!

Probably you have noticed on my sidebar, YES, here, right hand side and top of the sidebar. I'm one member of Digi Doodle Shop's DT. (Needed to repeat that, because it is sooooo GREAT!)

During my time in this colouring adventures so far, I have always liked DDSB imaged because reality and kindness of them. Beautiful to work with and of course digital image gives you opportunity to flip and resize, and this brings more ideas into your head.

Ok, here I am. Happy and cheerful!

I will meet hopefully many of you posting your creations to DDSB Challenges. <3

I love card crafting, that’s for sure, but it was only few cards once in a while. Just over a year ago this all changed when I was introduced to blog land and colouring.

Before it was mainly decoupage but now I’ve spread my wings and love trying new things, techniques, different types of cards and digi stamps definitely are great! Well, in crafting world, what isn’t?

That’s the beauty of it, this is fun, therapeutic, nice way to spend good time with friends and make new friends.

Being chosen to join this team is something I am very proud of and surely will learn a lot and hopefully I can give something back as well.

Unique by Annemaritta, that is my signature. I will be visiting your blogs, see you!

Hugs,and lets get crafty!

A Bit Fancy Thanks

This is going to be one of my favourite thank you cards. Made it by request and I know bunch of roses might be too much for some, but I think this is beautiful. A little detail is the gap and individual letter die cuts. Pearl silver with silver sating bow. A touch of glossy accent.

Till next card :)

New Home

I forgot to buy garlic! What a disaster!

Anyway, this is a card made by request. Idea was to welcome a person to new house with a nice cup of tea. Not sure if I got too excited about distress ink or colorine, but here we go. Of course options are about endless, so keep orders coming, thank you very much!!! xxxx

PS. I really need garlic cos making lasagne and my MY cooking is mmmmm.... and house will smell like Italian Restaurant for the next few days :) Herbs, garlic. Ah, sweet!

PS. Son's GF is moving to Wales for UNI and I am heartbroken. She is so sweet, beautiful, nice, funny, cheerful and kind. I am going to miss her sooooo much. It's about 2½ hrs driving, so not that bad, to be honest.

See you!

OAP me?

This digi is from DDSB and the collection is Body Tots. She is fabulous, isn't she? I call her "Gramma Annie" after me, of course :D Hopefully my sons get the hint... I would LOVE to have grand children!

Quite dark shades of colours, but matches nicely with my colorine. The mess on my desk is after putting this card together from
A4 lightly mottled ivory cream -> 14,5 cm x 14,5 cm (14,5 cm x 29 cm of course)
Base circle is 14 cm diameter same cardstock as the butterfly circle Spellbinders + distress ink
Violet/purple/lilac circle is 100gsm paper and die is Marianne's
Image colorine is Promarkers
Shiny dots are Papermania
Roses are paper roses from sale

That's it really. You will see more of Body Tots, defnitely.

Summer in September

Weather has turn to normal i.e. autumn is definitely here. Last couple of days have been horrible heathwise and crafting takes my thoughts away from the pain and struggle. Son has been great help. I thought it was a good idea NOT to take painkillers because not going anywhere but ohmygoosh, this stupid idea caused me the most difficult evening and night for ages. Back to drugs. Frustration and anger won't help. Believe you me. But I am so flippin frustrated. And angry.

Result from last night.

Butterfly punch is Anne Griffin (or something like that)
Hologram cardstock is from stash as the flower blossoms
Swirl is Marianne's
DP is Smirk
Green half pearl dots are Papermania

PS. Box is my very own diy photo studio, Dorcas inspired me and you'll find more info from her blog. Also the most wonderful cards. Of course you can't see the box itself, but well, I have it now, suitable DIY photo studio.

A Card to Remember

A Card.

There is somekind of Fleur De Lis boom at the moment (or passing by). I have this old Fleur De Lis punch and so it came handy. Made a sabloon, template, inked FdL figures on the card as a border, silver embossing powder and heat it up.

Flower is made out of old bigger flower and sort of ripped it a part and glued back together.

Small FdL die cut, distressing with the silver ink, and before that of course, I stamped the sentiment. Ok, ok, I confess... I stamped straight on to the card, but it looked that bad and shaky, needed to do this way.

Challenge for this one
Less is More  Metallic

Sorry about the word "sabloon", mixed a bit of Finnish.

Silver It Is

This first pic is bright on very purpose! To get the silver shine.

Yes, my very messy desk, but well, if I am not bothered...

This is for 25th Anniversary. Trying to send the message "it feels like it was only yesterday". Roses following the flowers and colours of the "original wedding pic". Hih, let your imagination flow.

Tomato-Tomoto

The wonderful title is copied from Stacey. My defense is that I seriously needed something beautiful and this has been in my thoughts for a while. I'm not saying MY card is beautiful, but Stacey's is. And the one before that, you know what I mean, if reading Stacey's blog. I love you, girlfriend!

Again card is made by request.

Golden organza ribbon

Marianne's Lacey Doily die
Tiny golden hearts glued one by one
Peel off was from a pile from a friend
Insert border is Fiskars something
Distress ink used on Marienne's die cut is either "Old Paper" or "Tea something"...

Sleeping Beauty - Times to Treasure

Sleeping Beauty - Times to Treasure

This card is made by request and is for a young couple having their first child. The title has a hidden message, or not so very hidden, I think ;) Times to treasure of course means how wonderful thing the new life is and also how those moments, when the baby is sleeping, are PRICELESS! A bit of peace and quiet. :)

Same Black and White

This beautiful Digi Doodle baby digi is colored with Prismacolors and blending is baby oil as usual. Image itself is so gorgous that I feel it hard to honour. Sentiment is stamped using Impress red ink and tiny touch of Clear Embossing Powder. Embossed with heat gun. Yes, I'm getting there!
