Experiment
Flat back pearls are probably my favourite embellishments and this suits nicely here:
Q: Why didn't the oyster give up his pearl?
A: Because he was shellfish.
I tried first time colouring the image with fineliners. Staedtler triplus fineliners out of the box and this is what I came up with:
Calvin Sitting Baby Digi Stamp coloured using Staedtler triplus fineliners. Also a bit of shading around his eyes and cheeks and chin by Letraset Flexmarkers bluish grey. I wanted to have expression of tired but happy looking fellow with day old face need shaving.
Challenge I would like to take part:

If you ever get cold, just stand in the corner of a room for a while. They're normally around 90 degrees.
Good job :)
Long time no seen, but pain is so bad can't stand still, can't sit down more than few moments and nerve pain is making my toes "dancing" all the time. That's just fyi. Life goes on and so does crafting.

It's first of September and of course we all know how wonderful month this is! Kids go back to school, some leave for college and some for uni. My card is about it.

Let me first introduce you our wonderful sponsor we have at Crafts Galore Encore for September Challenge #9 Make a Card:
and
prize is 3 digi stamps or 1 set of your own choice.
What the artist herself says: I love spending time in my craft room designing and creating with paper, fabric, flowers, ribbons, paint... anything I can get my hands on really. I have tried many different arts and crafts and have a particular passion for papercrafts, decorative painting and ribbon embroidery. I love to share ideas and "how to's" with other keen crafters, which is the purpose of this blog. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy what I have to offer. For September Challenge I used digi stamp called "Raspberry House".
Empty nest when child leaves home to follow the dreams what he wants to study.
He is homesick (as if!) and folds the card to think about home. How sun was shining and love in the middle of it all was so warm and made him feel good.
Raspberries and sunshine with love. Raspeberries got a fab 3D effect when adding Glossy Accent them each one by one. Sun is made of different flowers and of course shiny heart in the middle :)
Card falls flat and oops, there is a pocket and there is something in the pocket!
This is just to show embossed part of the card and pearls.
Little book attached the tag and there is a message from home. (Not done it yet because need to blog this first.)
Big tag is actually another pocket and there is some money.
AND THAT REALLY MAKES YOUR STUDENT'S DAY!!!
That's it. Hope you like this one.
Details:

Colours - Letraset Flexmarkers
Card blank - 8x8 Craft UK

Theme is Fancy Fold and although this is "just easel" I like it and it's a bit fancy, so "fancy" and "fold" makes a FANCY FOLD heheee.

Little Boy
Beautiful digistamp from Make it Crafty and Spectrum Noir pencils from Crafter's Companion.
Congratulations is hot embossed using white ink and green embossing powder.
I like how I coloured his eyes and hair.
Inspiration for this was my neighbour's son, who had a fab holiday with his family. Also the thought how beach and summer and Primary School are left behind now and he is going to High School.
Thanks for visiting :)

Favourite Colours for a Special Occasion
Here we are in the middle of August, well almost, and I love this day for a Very Special Reason.
The Sisterhood of Crafters took me in for August, and this is my first Step Sister project. I hope you like it. The Sisterhood of Crafters is totally stress free place with great challenges. For this fortnight theme is "Your Favorite Colors". This is mine:

I only got this stamp few days ago and was buzzing to use it on card.
This might be my favourite Make it Crafty digistamp :) I LOVE this lady.
Few years back my favourite colour was black. It was excellent if it was black. No other colours, thank you very much! Almost without noticing I was drawn to purple and silver and now it is clear they are my favourite colours.
Now listing all things made this card possible:
Stamp on front - Stampin Up Layered Labels
Ink - Stampin Up
Digistamp inside - Make it Crafty Soprano Singer
Distress Ink - Ranger (TH)
Cardstock - Homebargains (light ivory), Papermill Direct (purple)

Atmospheric Perspective
Atmospheric Perspective. Oh yeah, can I have one of them, please. Err... what is a "Atmospheric Perspective", please? Dictionary tells you:
"atmospheric-perspective. aerial perspective. a technique of rendering depth or distance in painting by modifying the tone or hue and distinctness of objects perceived as receding from the picture plane, especially by reducing distinctive local colors and contrasts of light and dark to a uniform light bluish-gray color."
Tried my best and here we go. Make it Crafty has this fantastic challenge here.

Chelsea sitting on grass hugging her legs.
Chelsea and grass
This one is to show the hill behind her *far far away*.
More pics.
Idea for this pic is all tourist pics were there is Eiffel Tower, Buckingham Palace, Pisa Tower, or something else behind you and you have someone to take a photo of you.
I put special effect on camera "dramatic" and wow, in my eyes this looks fab.
One more.
Details to follow... All I want to do just now is have a piece of home made apple pie (own apple tree) and blog this. :) Hooray.

Can't wait to see YOUR creations. Come and play with us!
I needed a nice box for my coloured pencils.
No stamps at all on this.
First I made 6 boxes 5cm x 5cm x 12cm.
Glued them together to have a sturdy base.
Mine was kraft one side and white the other and naturally I made boxes without thinking and left WHITE side to show. Argh, numpty.
Printed a LV wallpaper x few A4 sheets of gorgeous leather embossed card from Papermill Direct, that was for front, back, sides and bottom.
Needed brown strips for all edges.
I thought golden corners etc would be nice and then glued tons of half back pearls around front edges.
Here we go.
3 x A4 sheets of sturdy card for departments (6 boxes)
3 x A4 sheets of white leather embossed card
printer
2 x A4 golden card for buckles and corners
3mm flat back pearls
4mm flat back pearls

Good Luck
Today is the day when schools are closing for summer holiday! Good luck to all kids/teens/young adults, have a good few weeks for relaxing and enjoying life.
Zoë from Make it Crafty has made great colouring tutorials, both
"live" and e-books. For me they have been truly good because my
colouring with markers is NOT good. This is the first time I've tried to concentrate and learn. Person with no flippin patience this is A Very Hard Task! ;)
Result with Tilda's dress was something I couldn't believe I've done it! Well, messed the sleeves up, but those shades on skirt, oh boy I love.
This gives me some confidence that I can improve.
