Baby Girl

First of all, I blame Dorcas (with love, of course!). When I saw her project last night, it was so marvellous that I just had to give a go. Here are the pics. Although first I thought I should have some kind of shimmering lense ;)

Following Dorcas' route, I found myself admiring Randi's blog, and oh boy, she has excellent tutorials how to make this things. Go and oooh yourself! :)

A really really nice couple in our congregation is celebrating a new baby girl. Congratulations!!!  This is to them.

Inside there is a flower pot, naturally! :) Inside walls needs papering :)

Geeezzzz... I need to be more accurate next time. IF there is going to be next time!

P.S. The two die cuts from the windows are pinned on the box and I'm using them as a greeting card. :)

Cardstock - old stash
Die Cut -Spellbinders

Flowers, and all extra - old stash
Specials - First ever this kind of project!!!

Challenges, I hope my card fits to, are:
A spoonful of sugar: Anything But a Card
Bunny Zoe's Crafts  Flowers Everywhere!

  1. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just love it when I get people sucked into things. :-)
You did a great job! I suppose you can't say whether its easier with a proper metric ruler when that's all you use over there. I ought to lend you our old piece of junk and see what you think!
The decorating is quite easy but the measurements were always off on mine. (my fault probably)
Beautiful job! Are you going to fill it with dummies?

  2. Dorcas, we use proper good old imperial measurements (ft, inches..., but I do have few rulers with cms and millimeters ;) All my measurements were off, and it was annoyin! :D Definitely my fault.

Yes, decorating was the easiest part and ok, I admit, I enjoyed this, lol! Yep, I was thinking about to put a dummy there. Ouch, forgot to add one pic to show inside. Before dummy.

  3. This is so gorgous! I'm sure the couple will love and treasure it. I know what you mean about Dorcas, she definitely is an enabler. (LOL)Hugs, dj

    P.S. What are Dummies?

  4. It came out so nice! I am thinking of trying one too! We are going to a 20th anniversary party this weekend If I fill it with chocolates, it would be perfect!

  5. Wow, this is so fabulous, I can't believe you got this done so fast...did you stay up all night. It would take me a week..what with the 5 or 6 I'd have to dis-guard because I messed them up. Great job Annemaritta. Hugs lin

  6. Denne ble jo kjempeflott! Lykke til på utfordringene!
    Ha en fin dag!
