Anyhow, here is the first of "My Very Long Way to Colour with Really Trying to Learn How to Colour with Markers" blogging. Phew. Ooh, this is gonna be fun. You are welcome to laugh at and with me.
Card blank is 6x6, embossed background is just couple of mm larger and nicely covers the base.
Detailed photos:
Crafter's Companion 6x6 embossing folders just about too big for the 6x6 card blanks I use. Oh well, rather this than other way round, to be honest with you. You have to love those sharp lines and beautiful details of them.
I put 2mm and 4mm pearls, colour is the same, although looks different shades.
Wows, 7 layers if counting base and image.
As you can see above, blending is not my strong point
smudging is ;) BUT I like her head.
Clearly she says: Yep, that's all for now!
Make it Crafty digi stamp 'Classy Victoria'

Oh, I really love the purple and gold combo, Annemaritta! Your coloring is fantastic -- I wouldn't know you were still "practicing" if you hadn't said so. :-D I'm so glad you chose to enter it in our challenge at Through the Craft Room Door this week. Good luck.

Zoƫ said: well Annemaritta - you're off to a terrific start.
ReplyDeleteOne suggestion I would like to make is to keep your 'flicks' in the same direction on that long skirt. If you keep them vertical instead of horizontal you're going to end up with a smoother finish. And don't be afraid to get the paper wet and let the shades 'melt' together.
Such a beautiful card and your image is gorgeous. Thank you for sharing at CFTH challenge.
