Oh Please

Family History continues, and this is definitely clearly obviously 100% recognizable truly yours truly ME!!!

Image is Mo's, you can find her blog here -> Digital Pencil Too and link to the shop is -> Mo's Shop
There are tons of wonderful full of life images. Now there's this song from one famous musical "Fiddler on the Roof".... ""If I Were a Rich Man"

As I mentioned very briefly, this is me. Again a true story behind the scene ;) Mum was very sick or something like that, and she asked a friend of hers to go shopping for a dress for me. OH PLEASE!!! Off we went to this high street clothing shop for kids. She picked this horrible RED itching dress with white horrible itching trimming on hem and probably on sleeves. Sleeves part can't remember because all that was shocking already. :D

Of course everyone can see how happy I was. Hih, I put my heart into this colorine. This is soooooo me, or did I mention it already? ;)

There is another theory for this face expression and sentiment. She is out in the garden and there have been slugs playing merry-go-round around her flower beds. I hate  can't handle  glitter. This is the very last proof that glitter and I don't match.

I adore this image.

One detail: The dress was for School's Christmas Party and 'Santa Claus' asked if anyone had courage to read a poem. I was up like a rocket!!!  This was the poem, actually it was my sister's, but...

We have a cat
and his name is Matt
And they all lived happily ever after
That's it!

(I got a goodie bag.)

Glitter Does Not Like Me

'Glitter Does Not Like Me'
The title says it all. Wanted to add some glitter, but it looks like burnt porridge. ;) Colorine is thick on purpose, I wanted to have just very strong image with no shadows or lights, okay, okay, you know me better... I thought it was the only way to get two similar (identical) images. :D

Erm... dj and Lin, stickles? What is it? :D (oh this wonderful world of crafting and latin sound terminology, lol) And yes, I'm serious, but will search for it <3
Aaah... but how long it takes to dry? I've tried to use something like that, but it was wet/damp even the next day. How should I use heat gun to dry it up?

Baby Girl

First of all, I blame Dorcas (with love, of course!). When I saw her project last night, it was so marvellous that I just had to give a go. Here are the pics. Although first I thought I should have some kind of shimmering lense ;)

Following Dorcas' route, I found myself admiring Randi's blog, and oh boy, she has excellent tutorials how to make this things. Go and oooh yourself! :)

A really really nice couple in our congregation is celebrating a new baby girl. Congratulations!!!  This is to them.

Inside there is a flower pot, naturally! :) Inside walls needs papering :)

My Favourite Scripture

How is it possible that colouring could take so much time and actually it doesn't look like Mona Lisa or Night Watch what ever you do?

The sentiment is probably my favourite Scripture, it is Psalm 8:3-4, this is very special to me. Years ago we drove to Northern Finland, continued to Norway and if you now look at the map, it is marked with A.
I was sitting on the rocks and looking at the Arctic Sea and I remember how beautiful it was, how peaceful. This scripture is how I felt. So small and humble in front of something so great and wonderful.

Chopping Board Needs a Job

If you have lets say few pencils and a chopping board you never use. If you have seen Lesley Crawford's Lazy Susan Coloured Pencil Holder AND you remembered there is a drill and drillbits somewhere hiding in your house...

This is the start:

I'm not sure what happens next. :D BUT Couple of hours later:

Here's a grid I printed and now I'm marking each pothole pencil hole with knitting needle and my tiny hammer. Hehee... this is so much fun! It has to be diagonal, because the chopping board is made of blocks, so it does not put too much pressure on seams. LOL, women logic?

Another couple of hours later: It looks okay. Marking is done, also a bit of sanding. Tomorrow I do a test drill, or should I say DRILL DRILL? lol. IF the result is what I'm aiming for, block is full of holes, and after another sanding session it will get a lick of paint.

Yeah, that is what I'm aiming for... lol.

BFF and ever

Family history continues...

This is definitely my brother :) with our cat called Lucifer. Lucifer was big, orange tabby and when I saw Mo's image (Tolerance by name), it clicked and I knew I found a perfect one. My brother has probably never raised this finger or wrist against anyone. Peace loving gentleman he is. From very young age he designed clothes and assumably these trousers he is wearing are decorated by him. For some reason he is a bit pale on the card, but that's just the light.

This is the first time I tried to colour sky, also this is the first time I have a card with digi from Mo. Her designs are warm and full of life. My colouring is based on Dorcas' teachings! Thank you both!
