Rainbow means hope for the future?

To cut a long story short: I couldn't sleep, and wanted to make a card to send to my Auntie Kati.

Kati is my mum's younger sister and she has sort of always been my rescue. When I was a kid and horrible teenager, Kati was the one, who offered me place to sleep and supported me in many ways.
If I said "I can't do this, I don't know how", she looked at me and said, "Anne, yes you can, trust youself".

Again last night it was Kati, who got me through a very difficult thing. She knows what I mean.

Card just came out like that, just like that. No way! Well, sort of...
I wanted to paint something and before long the flower pot was there.

There are few Rainbow Challenges now, and I realized the flower pot already had red, orange, yellow, green, violet and blue. It was very easy to continue with the theme. Sky blue backing paper and indigo (?) metallic border.

Card absolutely needed that love letter :)
BUT we do not know what it says there. ;)

I have no idea what those paints are,
some tiny little pots and give great metallic shine.
Maybe oil paint.  (How would I know, I just work here LOL)

Rainbow. Seven colours of satin ribbons. Side by side.

Cardstock again from Tesco (I love those prices)
Digistamp - Vase of Roses by Delicious Doodles
Paint - Gift from friend
Blue shiny card (frame and envelope) - Home Bargains! :)
Satin ribbons - hmm... from my drawer
"Just for You" - Probably Anita's

The Artistic Stamper - Rainbows
The Crafty Pad - Rainbows
A Pocket Full of Posies - Floral Fantasy

  21. For Paper piecing you repeat your image onto different coloured or patterned papers, as well as one on white card. You can either print a digi image or stamp it. Then you cut bits from the images on the paper and glue them on your plain one. I did a yellow image and cut out her hair. From another paper I cut her top, another her jeans, and one for her shoes. You then do a little shading on top besides colouring your image. It's a lot of work but I really do like the finished look.
